I've been silent for the past couple of weeks for two reasons: firstly, I've been on holiday visiting my parents in Spain; and secondly, I've been entranced by Fabien Potencier's tutorial on how to build your own lightweight framework, using Symfony2 components only as you go along. Well, "entranced" might be a strong way of putting it: but it certainly kept me entertained while my parents watched Flog It! and Pointless on their Spanish Freeview set.
Not too entranced, mind you. I made sure I spent some time lying by the sea and eating tapas. But recharging one's batteries has its place; indeed, in a very real sense, paddling in the Med as just another facet of the R&D process. Amirite?
