This summer there's two fantastic Drupalcamps in the North East. The aptly named DrupalCamp North East will take place in Sunderland Software Centre, 25–27 July. Not to be outdone (is it ever, a Lancastrian writes?) Yorkshire is having its own DrupalCamp Yorkshire, in Leeds, this coming weekend (31 May–1 June).
Family commitments mean I'm not able to attend either of these, but I hope to keep an eye on both of them. As with Drupal Camp North West, the popularity/excellence of regional camps is a direct effect/cause of a crescendo of interest, adoption and upskilling in local Drupal communities. I've never been to a dud camp, and they're always cheap as chips.
Go to one! Go to both! Drink to absent friends (i.e. me) and I'll see you in DrupalCon Amsterdam if nothing else.
