Drupal is a combination of a content management system (CMS) and a content-aware framework for development. It's highly modular and turns PHP into a rigorous, event-driven language. Drupal is available under the open-source GNU General Public Licence.
I'm a senior developer and Drupal lead at Torchbox, and most of my day-to-day development and architecting is in Drupal or concerns Drupal sites.
I help out on IRC and email when I can, and also contribute to the community whenever I've got time. I attended 2009's DrupalCon Paris and DrupalCamp UK (Manchester), and hope to go to a few more Drupal-based meetings this year.
